ABSTRACT

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of global research trends on the relationship between leadership style, compensation systems, and employee performance. Using Scopus-indexed data from 2020 to mid-2025, the study identifies publication growth, key contributors, dominant journals, and emerging research themes. Results show a significant rise in publications post-pandemic, with Indonesia leading in output, followed by the UK and US. Dominant keywords include employee performance, transformational leadership, and job satisfaction. Visualization reveals growing attention to digital HR, employee well-being, and data-driven performance management. Despite its strengths, the study is limited to English-language articles from one database. Future research should explore mediating variables and expand cross-cultural perspectives. The findings offer practical insights for HR practitioners and policymakers to design more effective leadership and compensation strategies aligned with global trends.
