ABSTRACT

Digitalization is a transformative process with significant implications for the economic field, characterized by rapid evolution and the ability to reshape commercial interactions and public sector involvement. This evolution requires a reconfiguration of organizational processes and the strategic implementation of digital technologies, in critical activities such as real-time data transmission and analysis, processing of large volumes of data and the development of value-added public services that improve the business ecosystem in general. E-invoicing, or electronic invoicing, is a digital method of issuing and processing invoices that is increasingly being adopted across various sectors and countries, offering numerous benefits over traditional paper-based invoice systems, and enhancing business efficiency, sustainability, and compliance.
