The study aims to assess the readiness of vegetarian restaurants in Metro Manila to embrace hydroponics farming. Objectives include evaluating awareness, willingness, benefits, and limitations and formulating an action plan to facilitate adoption. It seeks to inform researchers, food industry stakeholders, and agricultural professionals about the feasibility and potential of hydroponic farming. The researchers explored participants' perspectives on integrating hydroponics in vegetarian restaurants through interviews and thematic analysis. Results indicate a developing understanding of hydroponics among establishments in the two cities, which is crucial for their willingness to adopt sustainable practices. The study identified gaps in knowledge and resources among participants, impacting their preparedness for hydroponic farming. Addressing these gaps can facilitate interventions to promote hydroponics adoption and enhance the availability of fresh produce in vegetarian restaurants. This research advocates sustainability, offering guidance for restaurants in Metro Manila looking to venture into hydroponics farming.
