A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of Empathetic Mindset of School Administrators Under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

ABSTRACT


The objective of this study was to examine the components of Empathetic Mindset of school administrators in Khon Kaen primary educational service area office 1. The sample included 360 participants, consisting of administrators and teachers selected through a multi-stage random sampling. A 5-level rating scale questionnaire was employed as the research instrument,demonstrating a high reliability value of 0.957 (Hair et al., 2021). Descriptive statistics, including mean (X) and standard deviation (S.D.), were utilized. Inferential statistics were assessed using Bartlett's Test of Sphericity, the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The research outcomes revealed that Empathetic Mindset of school administrators comprises four primary components and 13 Indicators, which are: (1) Self-Awareness having 3 indicators (2) Value different perspectives having 3 indicators (3) Empathetic Communication having 4 indicators (4) Positive Relationship having 3 indicators. The model used to measure Empathetic Mindset of school administrators in Khon Kaen primary educational service area office 1. demonstrated alignment with the empirical data, as evidenced by the statistical values: = 66.133, df = 52, P-Value = 0.0899, RMSEA = 0.027, SRMR = 0.018, CFI = 0.996, TLI = 0.995
